Abimbola has extensive expertise in advising on corporate and commercial transactions, specializing in acquisitions, venture capital, capital formation, joint ventures, equity and quasi-equity investments, technology, and intellectual property transactions.

With over 15 years of practice experience, Abimbola has provided litigation services to governments, regulators, and businesses including in matters of constitutional interpretation of sector regulations, contracts, corporate disputes, IP defence, and antitrust investigations. He has been primary counsel to regulators in significant antitrust and consumer protection investigations, prosecutions, and actions.

Abimbola holds an LLM in International Financial and Commercial Law from King’s College London, a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) from the University of Ibadan, and BL from the Nigerian Law School. He is an associate of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (UK). Abimbola has been recognized as one of the 40 Under 40 rising stars by the Nigeria Legal Awards.

Olasupo has expertise in corporate law, international trade, intellectual property; and litigation. He holds over 15 years’ experience as an academic and litigation lawyer. Olasupo holds practitioner status in various jurisdictions, including being a Barrister and Solicitor of the High Court of New Zealand, the Supreme Court of Tasmania, Australia, and the Supreme Court of Nigeria.

His academic engagements include teaching roles at the University of Tasmania; the University of South Australia; RMIT University, Melbourne; and CQUniversity Australia. Olasupo is a Law Professor at Lead City University, Nigeria. He has held the Alexander von Humboldt Fellowship at the University of Augsburg Germany and he has been a Visiting Researcher/Scholar at the Lyon Catholic University and Max Planck Institute for Innovation and Competition Law, Munich.

Olasupo's global contributions include serving as a resource person on Intellectual Property and pharmaceutical patents for organizations such as the World Health Organization (WHO), the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), the Government of India, and the African Regional Intellectual Property Organization (ARIPO). He is extensively published in various international journals.

Olasupo excels in providing superior legal advisory services on innovation financing, startups, and intellectual property. His comprehensive practice and teaching experience across diverse legal disciplines make him an invaluable asset in both the legal and academic realms, positioning him as an indispensable resource for transaction planning and execution. Olasupo holds a PhD and LLM from the University of Tasmania, a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) from the University of Ibadan, and a BL from the Nigerian Law School.

Jesulayomi Oyelami is focused on corporate and commercial transactions, competition law, regulations, and corporate governance. She plays a significant role in the firm's transactional practice, providing excellent services in mergers and acquisitions, private equity, projects, joint ventures, and equity investments. Jesulayomi is experienced in coordinating legal due diligence, offering practical and insightful perspectives on risk evaluation and management throughout the transaction process.

She has a particular interest in supporting emerging growth businesses and their investors, overseeing the capital rounds of several businesses with a tailored focus on the mechanics of multiple equity and convertible debt investment arrangements.

Jesulayomi holds a law degree from Afe Babalola University, and she is an Associate of the Institute of Chartered Secretary and Administrators of Nigeria (ICSAN) and the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators.

Damilola advises clients on corporate, commercial, and dispute resolution matters. She has extensive experience in representing clients in significant matters involving contracts, joint ventures, patent defence, trademark technology, shareholder disputes, securities, consumer protection, and energy.

Another significant aspect of her work involves analyzing new regulatory developments and providing practical advice to clients on how to navigate their compliance obligations. She provides support to clients in the continuing process of aligning business strategies with regulations across various sectors, with special interest in financial services, FMCG, and technology. Her in-depth and practical experience of market regulations is valuable to the transaction review process, ensuring that transaction structures are both efficient and legally sustainable.

Damilola holds the Bachelor of Laws (Hons) from the University of Ibadan, BL from the Nigerian Law School and she is an Associate of the Institute of Chartered Secretary and Administrators of Nigeria (ICSAN).

Temitope has experience in dispute resolution, real estate investment and impact investing.

Prior to joining Slingstone, Temitope was an Associate in another leading firm and was an active member of the firm’s commercial litigation group. She has been involved in representing dispute resolution clients across industries including financial services, real estate and infrastructure.

She holds LLM from the University of Southern California, Bachelor of Laws from the Obafemi Awolowo University and has been qualified for admission as an Attorney in State of New York.
